TOYS FOR TOTS INFORMATION FOR SALT LAKE CITY AND SURROUNDING AREA RESIDENTS

Thanks to the generosity of the local community, during the 2011 Toys for Tots campaign, 13018 toys were distributed to 10430 less fortunate children in this area. We look forward to working with everyone again in 2012. Thank you.

Fundraiser and Community event Requests for Salt Lake City-Toys for Tots

All Fundraisers and Community Events requests on behalf of the Toys for Tots Salt Lake City campaign can be requested through the Toys for Tots site, at www.toysfortots.org and select the correct state/ county. If their our further questions email us at slc_t4t@yahoo.com.

Agency and organization toy request:

For all Non-Profit Agencies and Organizations who would like to request toys, by following these instructions:

a. Go to website link: www.toysfortots.org
b. Find your local campaign box, Scroll down to: Utah
c. Search by City or County, Scroll down to: Salt Lake City or Salt Lake County, click it
d. On right side of page, Non-Profit Toy Request form
e. Fill out and press SUBMIT.

ALL REQUESTS must be received NO LATER THAN 11:59 pm, NOVEMBER 18, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Applications will be reviewed and accepted based on the forecasted amount of donations available. A Toys for Tots representative will contact you to discuss your request and pick-up date/time.

Toys for Tots Drop Site Request:

1. You can request to volunteer your local business as a Toys for Tots Drop site by following these instructions:

a. Go to website link: www.toysfortots.org
b. Find your local campaign box, Scroll down to: Utah
c. Search by City or County, Scroll down to: Salt Lake City or Salt Lake County, click it.
d. On the right side of the page, select Become a Toy Drop Site Form
e. Fill out and press SUBMIT.

A Toys for Tots representative will contact you with dates and times for box/supplies drop off at your location.
**Once assigned by the local campaign as an official campaign sponsor, you may utilize the instructions given above to request more supplies in support of your drop site location. Select the Request supplies form, the form will be submitted to a rep within your area who will deliver the supplies to your location. Your location will also be advertised on the Toysfortots.org website under Toy Drop-Offs

Distribution Location, Dates/Times:

1. Distribution of toys for all qualified families will go by assigned pick-up date/time at the following location:

Navy Operation Support Center (NOSC)
116 Pollock Road
Salt Lake City, UT 84113

2. Pick-up date/times:
TBD

The following items MUST be presented when arriving to pick-up toys:

1. A valid ID, (a current state issued Drivers License or ID card / Government Issued ID / Alien registration card / foreign government ID).

2. - Families will NOT be given toys prior to assigned pick-up date/time on their documents.
- If you miss your assigned pick-up date/time, you may come to any LATER pick-up date/time.

Volunteers:

1. To volunteer for assistance with collection of toys, or to assist with distribution of toys, please follow these instructions:
a. Go to website link: www.toysfortots.org
b. Find your local campaign box, Scroll down to: Utah
c. Search by City or County, Scroll down to: Salt Lake City or Salt Lake County, click it.
d. On the right side of the page, select Become a Request to Volunteer Form
e. Fill out and press SUBMIT. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed, and approved.

2. Prior to volunteering your services, the following must be understood:
a. All Volunteers must endorse the Toys for Tots Gratuitous Service Agreement, and endorse the rules/regulations form
b. All volunteers must be at least the age of 18, unless accompanied by an adult or with an approved group or organization. Prescreen will be conducted when your request is submitted online and at arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS!
